Actor Headshots That Actually Get You Cast

Commercial, theatrical, and every nuanced look in between.

Let’s be real: casting directors know exactly what they’re looking for, and your headshot is your one chance to deliver it before you even step in the room.

Step into a fully directed session designed to capture the exact, dynamic range that working actors need today. We shoot every look individually within your session, highly curating each setup. Why? Because when it comes to your career, we don't leave a single micro-expression to chance.

Here is how we do it:

  • Fully Directed Sessions: No awkward guesswork. Just authentic, deliberate expressions pulled out of you by a pro.
  • The Complete Range: From upbeat commercial warmth to gritty theatrical intensity.
  • Total Transparency: You only pay for the images you absolutely love and actually want to use.

You’ll walk out of the studio with a versatile, strategic portfolio of headshots built specifically for what casting is actually looking for right now. Let's get you booked.

One Face. A Whole Lot of Roles.

Let's be real: submitting the exact same headshot for every single audition just doesn't work. You’re pitching for different characters and completely different vibes. That’s exactly why our sessions are designed to capture a true range of looks, not just one lucky shot.

We don’t just snap 200 photos of the exact same smile and cross our fingers for variety in the edit. We deliberately direct you through each and every look, one at a time.

The Two Heavy Hitters

When it comes to booking, you generally need two distinct vibes in your toolkit:

  • The Commercial Look: Think bright, warm, and ridiculously approachable. This is the face a brand wants selling their product. It’s friendly and trustworthy on purpose, designed to make a total stranger feel comfortable in a split second. It books ads, product campaigns, and anything where the casting note says "relatable."
  • The Theatrical Look: Here’s where we flip the script. Grounded, raw, and packing some serious emotional punch. Film, TV drama, and stage directors aren't looking for a polite smile, they want depth. They want a hint of the heavy lifting you can do.

Covering Serious Ground

The truth? Most actors need both. Most agents demand both. But we go even further to make sure your portfolio covers real ground:

  • The bad guy or the gritty anti-hero
  • The sweet girl or boy next door
  • The tough-as-nails cop or DA

We’ll even push your apparent age in both directions, because the audition call you actually get is rarely the one you were expecting.

FAQ

What exactly counts as a "Look"?

In this studio, a 'Look' isn't just a quick wardrobe change; it’s a completely targeted casting demographic. We aren't just swapping a blue tee for a red tee. We are re-tooling your wardrobe, background lighting, and expression strategy to move you from 'The Quirky Tech-Exec' to 'The Gritty Detective.' Every look is a specific weapon engineered for a specific breakdown.

Do I get the unedited images from the session?

Yes, absolutely. I don’t believe in holding your images hostage or charging you hidden fees just to access your own face. You will receive a private, high-resolution online gallery containing every single usable JPEG from our session with full download rights. This gives you and your talent agent ultimate flexibility to scout for alternative expressions or niche looks down the road. However, we won't leave you drowning in choices—we will still pinpoint the exact strategic winners designed for your casting lanes, which will then receive my master-level retouching treatment.

I have no idea what my "Casting Lanes" or archetypes are. Can you help me?

That is exactly why you are here. Most headshots fail because actors guess their type and hope for the best. Before we even touch a camera, every single package includes a strategy assessment. We analyze how you are currently being perceived by the industry, what roles you actually want to book, and how we can align your marketing to get you in front of those specific casting directors.

What should I bring for wardrobe?

Don't stress about this... bring a suitcase. During our pre-shoot prep, we map out your wardrobe specifically around your character archetypes. The golden rule is simple: wear clothes that help a casting director immediately place you in the script. Avoid heavy patterns or giant logos that steal attention from your eyes. We will finalize the selection together in-studio before we click the shutter.

Do I really need professional hair and makeup?

We work exclusively with top-tier, industry-vetted makeup artists who specialize in camera-ready, natural formatting. For actors, the goal is 'you on your best day,' not a heavy glamour look. When a casting director calls you into the room, you must look exactly like your photo. Adding our professional makeup artist to your session is highly recommended to control studio lighting glare and ensure your skin texture looks flawless on digital screens.

How fast will I receive my final marketing assets?

Your digital proofing gallery will be live within 24 hours of your session. Once you select your winning images (or we choose them together), your master-retouched, high-resolution assets are delivered within 3-5 business days. If you are on a tight deadline for an urgent agency submission, rush options are available.

How do I lock in my session date?

Everything is handled online for maximum speed and efficiency. To secure your strategic session on my calendar, a $100 non-refundable retainer is required at the time of booking, with the remaining balance due the day of our shoot. Once the retainer is cleared, your digital prep guide is unlocked, and our strategy consultation is officially initiated.

What happens if I get an audition or need to reschedule?

I get it, this is show business. Auditions pop up, bookings happen, and schedules shift overnight. Because I only book a limited number of clients per week to ensure deep-dive strategic attention for each actor, your slot is highly coveted.

With 48 Hours' Notice: You can transfer your deposit to a new date one time at no extra cost.

Inside 48 Hours: Rescheduling within 48 hours or a complete cancellation results in a forfeiture of your retainer, as it does not leave enough time to fill the empty studio space.Exception: If you get a verified last-minute network booking for a shoot day, send me the booking sheet and we will work together to pivot your date. Mutual respect for time is how we keep the engine running.

What if I’m not photogenic or get incredibly nervous in front of the camera?

Look, 90% of the actors who walk through my door tell me they hate getting their picture taken. Here is the reality: being 'photogenic' isn't a natural talent; it’s the result of feeling directed and confident. I don't just stand there and click a button while you awkwardly guess what to do with your face. Every single session includes intensive, micro-level expression coaching. We focus on active thought, subtext, and breath, using the exact same tools you use when you're working a scene. By the time we start shooting, the nerves dissolve, and we capture a genuine, magnetic presence that reads on screen.

Show them exactly what you’re made of.

Let’s capture the kind of undeniable range that makes casting directors stop in their tracks.
